Thank goodness I'm not back over 300 but I'm still over 59 pounds up in weight. So now it starts again. Why? I hate how I look in pictures. It's not healthy or safe. Back in the saddle, again.
275.6 First day water loss and I ate wisely. I didn't overeat portion size and stayed away from the junk. 2nd day is upon me. I only can control what is within my abilities. Today I can choose to eat wisely and put myself in charge. I choose to live and not to eat. Using food for survival and to limit it's use only enhenses it's appeal. My fat is a symptom of over eating. Like the alcoholic taking the drink.    Abstinence is different for most addictions. It's the stopping of using a drug, drink or such. For food it's a needed item in my life...but only in smaller portions then I have used over the last 1 1/2 years.
278.8 Time to get back on the wagon. Slow and steady.  Feeling sad, but I know what I must do and this is just part of the life long battle. Day 1.

back on the horse, again. Electronic Cigarettes instead of smoking.

Not related, but it is. Here are some links to my favorite Electronic Cigarette web sites. I've been a smoker since I was 14 and I was up to 2 packs a day for the time I was driving over the road. I had been around a pack to 1 1/2 packs daily. Now I'm a E-cig user. I have lungs, again.      Part of the life style changes goes beyond weight and exercise and nutrition. It entails all forms of health and self improvement. Like your financial life you can cut your budget (if you have one), and increase your income. I'm not going to candy coat it. I'm and am up about 20 pounds since Thanksgiving. I had a elbow injury that was bugging me and now I can workout, again.     Here are some links to my favorite forum and some of the web sites I've used. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ http://altsmoke.com http://www.azsmokefree.com/home VaporRenue offers an interesting Cigarette like tasting product. Ya gotta let it steep when you first get it, but it's good an...

Don't think i'm stalling.

Still plugging away but this site is first and foremost of me. I've stalled over the last few months. Not gaining or loosing. Just maintaining. But my workouts are rockin'!  Stay tough. I'm within 25-30 of goal and I"m looking forward to hitting the goal of 199, but I'm not dying over it.

Hierarchy of weight loss.

I can't say it any better, so here is the article, in full. http://cutthefatpodcast.com/1593/cut-the-fat-blog/lifestyle-and-weight-loss/the-weight-loss-hierarchy-manual

Still plugging away. IT's a lifestyle, not a race.

Just a quick note to my 5 fans (including my mom). It's been a stalled month, but I was trying to build some more muscle and take it a bit lazy. It worked! Now I'm taking back the weekends and "watching", again. Been catching up on some podcasts and trying to help people in real life. But as I just learned, a good friend of mine that drives truck is starting to show high blood pressure and his doctor said " 30 pounds in 3 months." He listened to me blab on and then had to go and never called back. He wants to do it because he needs to do it, but he will buy a fitness program and not take care of the 80% of the program and thats diet and nutrition. He will exersice and hope to loose the weight, but he isn't sold on fat loss versus weight loss.      Most people want to be thin TODAY and the scale is their personal god, they want it fast and simple. They want to do cardio and burn all those calories from foods they wont give up. (his are long island ice te...
