maintaining weight lost while loosing more. A new concept I'm doing.

I'm happy where I am...for now. I am working on loosing more than 40 pounds but I have stumbled upon something missing from most "diets." I need to practice maintenance now. It's like my mindset. 90% of how my weight loss goes is how I mentally handle it. It's allowing myself "cheat meals". I had a party to go to the other weekend and I let myself go. Not like I used to but I still tasted EVERYTHING.
It's like driving a car without my instructor with  me and realizing  I need to practice driving on my own. 95% of all diets fail because of weight loss ending and not learning how to keep it off. Not doing much different than in my "diet" mode, but I am practicing getting my mind around the fact that I am still fat, but not as big as I was before.  I plan on uploading pictures I've taken of the last months OMAD meals. Don't starve. I've lost around 60 pounds over the last 7 months and i'm ok if it takes longer to loose the next dozen pounds. This is a marathon, for life. Not a sprint.
I am hearing the question "How did you do it?" and most are disheartened when I tell them about OMAD and 16/8 and the other half about it being over half a year for ONLY 60 pounds. No magic pills, people. Just developing better and healthier habits and doing it most of the time. Weekends are still tricky but this is the journey.
